There are three farmsteads along the path in the Grosgalli area. The pergola-covered table offers a stop-off and refreshment point for wayfarers. The last farm, at the top of a short flight of steps, is called C? Bianca.
The village of Lezzeno gets very little sunlight, due to its position. In the hamlet of Carvagna, the locals have attempted to counteract this defect by coining the saying 'Carvagna, not much sun, not much moon... very much fortune'.
The Trails for the Modern Wayfarer have been created by a chain of Local Authorities, to promote hiking opportunities and facilities around Lake Como and the Swiss region of the Val Mesolcina in the Canton of Graubünden (French: Grisons; Italian: Grigioni).
